# 2 Whose chopper is this? Part I

On first sight the answer to this question might be really easy. I guess that some of you think about the movie "Pulp Fiction" (1994) or Bruce Willis (Butch) sitting on a motorcycle.

But is not about "Pulp Fiction" this time. This is about two guys from Canada who changed everything in my life. I first heard about Zeds Dead in 2009, but they started to produce music in 2004 as Mass Productions. Of course their name "Zeds Dead" has much in common with "Pulp Fiction". It references to a scene that you can see above.
DC and Hooks are well known in Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Drumstep music industry. Not only because of their characteristic sound, but most of all because of their talent. It's not that easy to do something special and different. Nowadays almost every Dubstep or Drum and Bass song sounds the same, but not these from Zeds Dead, I think. There are many artists who copy almost everything to be famous and earn as much as possible. That's also the way of life of course, but probably not the best way of thinking. It's important to do what you love and not to expect hundreds of thousands in a minute. I think that was the main reason why DC and Hooks started to work togheter. Here you can find out more about the beginnings of ZD:

As I wrote above, they changed my life. Of course, I like other music genres too, but thanks to ZD I cannot imagine my life without Bass music, Dubstep and Drum & Bass. It is just like the air or food everybody needs to live. Sometimes I really cannot describe feelings while listening to this type of music. It's much different, when I hear it live. Then I go into a trance. It's like a disease that makes you happy, not sad like every disease. Beautiful feeling.
One day I decided to finally see Zeds Dead live and I will never forget that show. It was incredible and spectacular in its simplicity. Nobody throw a pie or air-banana in the audience and nevertheless it made a big impression on me. They just came out on stage and proved they know what they do. So proffessional. So simple. So unforgettable. I'm looking forward to repeat this!

At  the end I would like to listen with you the last EP from Zeds Deppelin and to move "somewhere else".
